In a move to assist more people in a lagging economy, the California Vision Foundation (CVF) has further extended its free vision and eye care services to those in need.

     The CVF works to prevent vision loss by offering comprehensive eye examinations and related services through the generosity of foundation partners and donated services from doctors of optometry throughout the state. Low-income families with no medical insurance who are working, and now those who are unemployed, can receive comprehensive eye exams and low-cost glasses.

     Californians can apply for CVF services at www.californiavision.org. Complete the one-page application (available in English and Spanish) and mail it to the following address:
